Basketball Recap: Harvest Temple Christian Academy Triumphs

Harvest Temple Christian Academy won the last time they faced Senedot Stripes, and Xander Barnes did his part to make sure it happened again. Harvest Temple Christian Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over Senedot Stripes on Thursday thanks in part to Barnes, who posted 16 points in addition to six assists and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Sam Leonetti, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards. Harvest Temple Christian Academy is 3-1 when Leonetti posts eight or more rebounds, but 7-8 otherwise.

Harvest Temple Christian Academy now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Senedot Stripes, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
