Soccer Recap: Mountain Ridge's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mountain Ridge won the last time they faced Dobson and things went their way on Friday too. The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Dobson Mustangs. Aryanna Peregrino was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The win was the third in a row for Mountain Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three matchups. As for Dobson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-2.

Mountain Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Desert View at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Mountain Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Dobson, they will be playing at home against Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dobson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
