Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Ramon Valley). They snuck past the Amador Valley Dons with an 88-82 win on Tuesday. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dons, too.

The victory (which was San Ramon Valley's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Amador Valley, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.

San Ramon Valley will venture away from home to square off against California at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. California will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something San Ramon Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Amador Valley, they will host De La Salle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Amador Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully De La Salle likes a good challenge.
