Volleyball Game Preview: Rockwell Marshals vs. Salt Lake Academy Griffins

The Rockwell Marshals will head out to face off against the Salt Lake Academy Griffins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Rockwell has struggled recently with 15 losses in a row, while Salt Lake Academy will arrive with ten straight victories.

Rockwell came up short against Freedom Prep Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Salt Lake Academy earned a 3-1 win over North Sanpete on Monday.

Salt Lake Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.

Rockwell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Salt Lake Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-6.

Rockwell suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Salt Lake Academy in their previous matchup on April 8th. Can the Marshals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
