Slidell had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Era Hornets with a sharp 73-51 win. Given the Greyhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Hornets are ranked 1265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
