After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, the Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-43 victory over Cristo Rey. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Sacramento Country Day considering their 22-point performance the match before.

Sacramento Country Day got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Derek Taylor out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Parker Byers, who scored 12 points.

Sacramento Country Day's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Cristo Rey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Sacramento Country Day will be playing at home against Sacramento Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacramento Adventist is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Cristo Rey, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
