Eisenhower never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Liberal on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Redskins. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win made it two in a row for Eisenhower and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Liberal, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eisenhower beat the Redskins by a score of 13-2 later that day.
