Volleyball Recap: Larned Comes Up Short

Larned lost against Haven back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14.

Larned's offense was headlined by Katy Gardner and Jadyn Crosby, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Brooke Simmons and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Larned's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Haven, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12.

Larned wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hill City on the 2nd. As for Haven, they will host Smoky Valley on Tuesday.
