Soccer Recap: Eastern Mennonite Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Eastern Mennonite hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Foxcroft 2-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Eastern Mennonite's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Foxcroft are ranked 85th).

Lily Kratz and Caroline Graves scored both of Eastern Mennonite's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Eastern Mennonite pushed their record up to 4-0-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Foxcroft, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eastern Mennonite didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Richmond Christian on the 1st. As for Foxcroft, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Oakcrest on the 1st.
