Baseball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes, falling 11-1.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dutch Fork, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood will face off against Camden at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Dutch Fork, they will square off against Irmo at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Irmo will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Dutch Fork surely won't give up without a fight.
