Basketball Recap: Cypress Lake's Win Ends 11-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Island Coast, Cypress Lake was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Riverdale Raiders with a sharp 42-19 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cypress Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jenna Cook, who posted ten points. Those ten points gave Cook a new career-high. Victoria Silva-Asuaje was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Despite the loss, Riverdale had strong showings from Bonner Destiny, who scored three points along with ten rebounds and five blocks, and Lovena Joseph, who put up two points and five boards.
