Basketball Recap: Bottineau Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Turtle Mountain

On Monday, Bottineau faced Turtle Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bottineau Braves/Stars fell just short of the Turtle Mountain Braves by a score of 60-58. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-64 two weeks ago.

Bottineau's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Turtle Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Bottineau does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Turtle Mountain, they will take on Rugby at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rugby will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Turtle Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
