Basketball Game Preview: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. Sabetha Bluejays

After both having extra time off, the Nemaha Central Thunder and the Sabetha Bluejays will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nemaha Central will be strutting in after a win while Sabetha will be coming in after a defeat.

Nemaha Central is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Jefferson West back in December of 2024. Nemaha Central took their game with ease, bagging a 47-18 victory over Jefferson West.

Meanwhile, Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 47-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Royal Valley. That's two games in a row now that the Bluejays have lost by exactly 13 points.

Sabetha's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nemaha Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Nemaha Central against Sabetha in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 51-20 victory. Does Nemaha Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sabetha turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
