Volleyball Recap: Cypress Creek Beats Springstead for Their Third Straight Win

It's playoff time, and Cypress Creek had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Springstead Eagles 3-0 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Coyotes, who have now won three contests in a row.

While Cypress Creek won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Cypress Creek found their leader in freshman Charlotte Spinner, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Cypress Creek's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Springstead, they moved to 16-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Cypress Creek will square off against River Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Springstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
