Basketball Recap: Gill St. Bernard's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Albertus Magnus last Saturday, Gill St. Bernard came back down to earth. The Gill St. Bernard's Knights lost 61-38 to the Rutgers Prep Argonauts on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since February 6th.

Gill St. Bernard's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for Rutgers Prep, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Gill St. Bernard's and Phillipsburg will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rutgers Prep, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Hunterdon Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
