Soccer Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pine Ridge Panthers. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

University's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Pine Ridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will take on Mainland in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University is facing Mainland at the right time seeing as Mainland is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pine Ridge, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pine Ridge challenge the Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
