Alexandria-Monroe has gone 8-2 against Eastbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Alexandria-Monroe's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Tipton with a sharp 11-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Jacklynn Hosier was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Thomas, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eastbrook walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Argylls on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Randy Casto was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Olivia Legg was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.

Eastbrook kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are 12-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Alexandria-Monroe's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Eastbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Alexandria-Monroe took their win against Eastbrook in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 10-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
