Morrow won the last time they faced Mays and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Morrow took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-15.

Kamora Murray paced Morrow's offense, picking up four kills. Murray got some help from Jaiden Cox and her 11 assists. Murray also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hope White, racking up three apiece.

Morrow's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mays, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Morrow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lithia Springs on the 16th. As for Mays, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Creekside at 7:30 p.m. on September 3.
