Volleyball Recap: Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Takes a Loss

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin lost against Anderson back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raptors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-9.

Maddie Pierce paced Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin's offense, picking up five kills. Pierce got some help from Peyton Phan and her ten assists. Pierce was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Anderson, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin will take on rival McCallum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Anderson is set to square off against their familiar foe Crockett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
