Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Celina). They came out on top against the Elida Bulldogs by a score of 61-48 on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Celina's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Elida is ranked 192nd).

Celina is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Elida, they moved to 11-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Celina will square off against New Bremen at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elida, they will take on Bryan at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
