Baseball Recap: Wellington School Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Wellington School fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Berne Union on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 4-2. The game marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wellington School's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2. As for Berne Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wellington School and Berne Union will both be playing Miller the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will host the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rockets will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
