Softball Recap: Dedham Marauders vs. Ashland Clockers
Dedham won against Milton last Thursday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Marauders put the hurt on the Ashland Clockers with a sharp 12-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Clockers: they've now won six in a row.

Dedham got a massive performance out of Joslyn Roberts, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Roberts a new career-high in doubles (two). Mary Stronach was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Dedham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ashland only posted a batting average of .296.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-3-1. As for Ashland, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dedham will face off against Bellingham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ashland, they will challenge Medfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Clockers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
