Recap: Great Falls Red Devils vs. Chesterfield Golden Rams
The Great Falls Red Devils kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a rough 54-11 loss at the hands of Chesterfield. Great Falls has not had much luck with Chesterfield recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Kierra Diggs was on fire for Chesterfield: she scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Diggs has scored at least 25% of Chesterfield's points. Terrahjah Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Great Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Chesterfield, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Falls will take on Andrew Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Andrew Jackson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Wednesday. As for Chesterfield, they will play host again and welcome Anson, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Anson is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
