Bethesda-Chevy Chase put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 55-0 victory over the Poolesville Falcons at home. Given the Barons' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Falcons are ranked 185th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gabe Eisler went supernova for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Eisler also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Danny Hahn was another key player, throwing for 89 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Poolesville, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethesda-Chevy Chase will challenge Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poolesville, they will face off against Damascus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
