Baseball Recap: Sasakwa Wins Going Away Against Strother

Sasakwa never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Strother Yellowjackets as Sasakwa made off with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Ayden Livesay was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases. Titan Collins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Sasakwa has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. Strother is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Sasakwa is taking a road trip to square off against Bray-Doyle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Strother, they will host Mason at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
