Tree of Life Christian had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a hard 61-45 fall against the Columbus International Lions. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.

Leila Carter had a dynamite game for Columbus International, dropping a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. Carter's evening made it 21 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Tree of Life Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shekinah Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 10th.
