Baseball Recap: Bonners Ferry Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bonners Ferry dropped their record down to 5-11 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Timberlake Tigers, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 last Friday.

Bonners Ferry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stryder Liermann, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

As for Timberlake, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

On Timberlake's side, the result came thanks to Eric Wylie's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. Wylie has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ryker Brennan was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Ethan Pecor was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bonners Ferry beat Timberlake by a score of 11-10 later that day.
