Baseball Recap: Providence Academy Drops Season-High Score on Lincoln

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence Academy). They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Lincoln Wolves on Monday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Providence Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Providence Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will host Life Way Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
