After losing to Kings Christian the last time they met, Legacy Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions walked away with a 9-6 win over the Crusaders on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Faith Ghilarducci, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Josie Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Legacy Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kings Christian only posted an OBP of .360.

Legacy Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Kings Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will face off against Bishop Union at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kings Christian, they will take on Kern Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
