Baseball Recap: Blevins Takes a Loss

Blevins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to Mineral Springs. If Blevins was looking for revenge after losing 19-6 to Mineral Springs when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Blevins' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mineral Springs, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blevins will challenge Lafayette County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mineral Springs, they will face off against Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Jays will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
