Baseball Recap: Cooper Takes a Loss

Chisholm Trail hit Cooper with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 10-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Cooper's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Chisholm Trail, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.

Looking ahead, Cooper will challenge Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chisholm Trail, they will venture away from home to face off against Fossil Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
