Charlotte came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bradenton Christian Panthers. For the Fightin' Tarpons, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Bradenton Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Sammy Vega paced Charlotte's offense, picking up nine kills. Vega got some help from Juliet Hurley and her 11 assists. Ramsey Bohannan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Bradenton Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Charlotte has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Fort Myers on the 6th. As for Bradenton Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
