Softball Recap: Bolingbrook Comes Up Short

Bolingbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Plainfield South Cougars, falling 9-2. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to the Cougars when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anaiyah Gregory was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bolingbrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Plainfield South, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-23 record.

As of now, neither Bolingbrook nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
