Softball Recap: St. Joseph Central Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 27-14 to the Willard Crimson Flashes.

St. Joseph Central Catholic saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Foos, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Foos also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Amaree Haralson was another, going 3-for-5 with one home run and three runs.

St. Joseph Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Willard, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Joseph Central Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Old Fort at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Willard, they will head out to challenge Huron at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
