Basketball Recap: Lake Region Takes a Loss

Lake Region lost against Auburndale back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunder took a blow against the Bloodhounds, falling 79-40. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

JADEN LINDSAY produced another solid performance going 11-for-22 on his way to 26 points along with seven rebounds and six steals for Auburndale. LINDSAY continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of JORDAN GUNTER, who posted 13 points.

Lake Region's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Auburndale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Lake Region wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-40 win against Jefferson on the 6th. As for Auburndale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-59 victory against Tampa Prep on the 6th.
