It was a good run, but Griswold unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 4-1 to the Bacon Academy Bobcats. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wolverines couldn't push the score so high this time.

Griswold's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Bacon Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Griswold will venture away from home to challenge Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines are facing the Clippers at the right time seeing as the Clippers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Bacon Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Valley Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
