Softball Recap: Bonneville Takes a Loss

Bonneville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Green Canyon Wolves, falling 12-3. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Samantha Mills was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellee Summers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Bonneville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Green Canyon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bonneville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Providence Hall on the 7th. As for Green Canyon, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Cyprus on the 7th.
