Volleyball Game Preview: Lick-Wilmerding Tigers vs. Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs

The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lick-Wilmerding is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lick-Wilmerding duked it out with San Domenico on Wednesday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Panthers.

Lick-Wilmerding came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 26-28, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Convent of the Sacred Heart also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Urban by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Lick-Wilmerding's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Convent of the Sacred Heart, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Lick-Wilmerding came out on top in a nail-biter against Convent of the Sacred Heart in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
