Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Takes a Loss

St. Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-14 defeat at the hands of the Cascade Christian Challengers. The match marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Cascade Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's has already played their next matchup (against Rogue River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cascade Christian will head out to face off against Lakeview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Cascade Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
