After having lost a blowout in their previous game against CrossPointe Christian Academy, Covington Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights 34-14. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Covington Academy's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Covington Academy will welcome Kings Way Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
