Soccer Recap: Southeast Guilford Falls Short of White Oak in the Playoffs

Southeast Guilford and White Oak squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Southeast Guilford had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Southeast Guilford couldn't quite close it out.

Southeast Guilford's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-12-1. As for White Oak, their win bumped their record up to 8-11-2.

Southeast Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White Oak, they will take on Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jacksonville will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something White Oak surely won't give up without a fight.
