Basketball Recap: Eaton Reds vs. Peak to Peak Pumas
After losing to Peak to Peak the last time they met, Eaton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Reds walked away with a 58-51 victory over the Pumas on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Reds.

Eaton had a senior duo take command as Ely Madaleno shot 67% from the field to rack up 22 points and seven rebounds and Austin Crider dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Crider is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rowen Meissinger, who posted eight points.
Several Pumas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tysen Burton, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Dane Hirt, who had 18 points.
Eaton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Peak to Peak, their record now sits at 0-2.
Looking ahead, Eaton will be playing in front of their home fans against The Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peak to Peak, they will head out to square off against Glenwood Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
