Soccer Recap: Malvern Prep Takes a Loss

Malvern Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that Malvern Prep have lost by just one goal.

Malvern Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-2. As for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Malvern Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Germantown Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy will challenge rival William Penn Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
