Chiawana has gone 8-2 against Southridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Riverhawks will head out on the road to square off against the Suns at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will give Chiawana their first taste of in-conference action this season.

On Tuesday, Chiawana got the win against Sageview by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Southridge hadn't done well against Kennewick recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Suns skirted past the Lions 3-2. While the Suns didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Southridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-9.

Southridge's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Chiawana, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-5.
