Volleyball Recap: American Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

The American Heritage Academy Patriots lost 3-0 to the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars on Thursday.

American Heritage Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-23.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence found their leader in freshman Cole Hardy, who had ten digs and three aces.

American Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

American Heritage Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Meadows School at 4:30 p.m. on March 26th. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the 7th.
