Basketball Recap: Wahama Piles Up the Points Against Tolsia

Wahama came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Tolsia Rebels to the tune of 82-39. The White Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Tolsia lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Robert Evans, who went 6 of 13 en route to 13 points. Evan Ball was another key player, putting up 12 points and six rebounds.

Wahama's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Tolsia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Wahama will head out to face off against Ritchie County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ritchie County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Wahama likes a good challenge. As for Tolsia, they will face off against Mingo Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
