Volleyball Game Preview: Fremont Silverwolves vs. West Field Longhorns

The Fremont Silverwolves will head out to challenge the West Field Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fremont took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bonneville as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Silverwolves in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won seven in a row.

Fremont not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bonneville between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, West Field was able to grind out a solid victory over Roy on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 23-25, 25-12.

Fremont's record is now 23-2. As for West Field, their record now sits at 15-10.

Everything went Fremont's way against West Field when the teams last played back in September, as Fremont made off with a 3-0 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Longhorns' Jorie Schiffman, who had 21 digs and three assists.
