Basketball Recap: Canyon View Finds Home Court Redemption Against North Sanpete

There's no place like home for Canyon View, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They snuck past the North Sanpete Hawks with a 56-50 win on Friday. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Hawks are ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Canyon View has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for North Sanpete, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Canyon View has already played their next contest (against Manti), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Sanpete will host Juab at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
