After losing to Alleman the last time they met, Sterling decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Warriors skirted past the Pioneers  2-1.
 The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-19,  26-24.
Sterling's offense was headlined by  Nia Harris and  Alasia Harris, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from  Sydney Giffin and her 17 assists. Alasia also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Grace Springman, each putting up two.
 Alleman's loss  on Tuesday came despite strong showings from  Margot Glackin and  Rachel Dopler.  Glackin  had eight  digs and three  aces, while  Dopler  had five  digs.
Sterling is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-15 record  this season. As for Alleman,  they are  on  a  13-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-21.
As of now, neither Sterling nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
