Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran is a perfect 10-0 against Whitehall since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lancers will be playing at home against the Norse at 5:00 p.m.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran fell victim to Eleva-Strum and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. Lancers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Cardinals since on Friday.

Meanwhile, Whitehall hadn't done well against Cochrane-Fountain City recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Norse walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Pirates.

Taylor Johnson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addison Poeschel, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Whitehall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.

Whitehall's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Whitehall struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran beat Whitehall 9-6 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Norse have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
